I’m Ellie  – a surface pattern and print designer with a passion for creating joyful, expressive designs that bring life to products and spaces.

 

After graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design from Leeds Arts University, I began my career at Oliver Bonas, where I gained hands-on experience designing for fashion and lifestyle collections.

 

Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance designer for over seven years, collaborating with a wide range of brands to create bespoke prints for textiles, wallpaper, homeware, fashion, and stationery.

 

My work is often hand-painted or illustrated, blending bold colour palettes with painterly textures and thoughtful composition.

 

I’m inspired by nature, everyday beauty, and the charm of imperfections — always aiming to create designs that feel playful, timeless, and full of character.
